In Korea, you must get your driver's license renewed every seven to ten years. This can be done at a local driver's license testing facilty or at the police agency's traffic bureau. The process is slightly different depending on what type of license you want to renew. You have to bring your old driver's licens and recent color photos of yourself. You also have to buy a payment stamp to cover your processing fees. If you have a Class 1 license, an aptitude test and a physical examination are required at the time of renewal. Class 2 license holders do not have to go through that procedure. If you drive for a certain number of years accident-free, you can get what's calld a green driver's license.

 

한국에서는 매 7년에서 10년마다 운전면허를 갱신해야 합니다. 면허 갱신은 가까운 운전 면허 시험장이나 인근 경찰서 교통과에서 할 수 있습니다. 갱신 절차는 면허 종류에 따라 조금씩 차이가 납니다. 먼저 기존 운전면허증과 최근에 찍은 명함판 컬러 사진을 가져가야 합니다. 그리고 수수료 명목으로 수업 인지를 사야 합니다. 1종 면허 소지자의 경우, 면허를 갱신할 때 적성 검사와 신체 검사도 받아야 합니다. 2종 며허 소지자는 이러한 절차를 거칠 필요가 없습니다. 일정 기간 동안 무사고로 운전한 경우에는 녹색 면허증을 발급 받을 수 있습니다.
