To make it easier for people to donated blood, the Red Cross in Korea operates blood bank buses that visit various locations regularly. You can easily spot one on a busy street. People can visit a blood donation center to take part in donating blood as well. Here'e how the process goes. You first fill out a medical history form and receive a basic physical. If you pass, a needle is inserted into your inner elbow. They give you a little ball to squeeze on while the blood is being drawn. You'll be asked to stick around for about 5 minutes afterwards to see if there are any complications. There are normally some light refreshments available such as cookies and milk.

 

헌혈을 보다 쉽게 하기 위해, 대한적십자에서는 다양한 지역을 정기적으로 방문하는 헌혈 차량을 운영합니다. 가끔씩은 복잡한 거리에서도 헌혈 차량을 발견할 수 있습니다. 물론 헌혈 센터에 직접 방문해서 헌혈을 할 수도 있습니다. 헌혈을 하는 절차는 다음과 같습니다. 우선, 본인의 병력에 대한 서류를 작성하고 간단한 신체 검사를 받습니다. 신체검사를 통과하면, 안쪽 팔꿈치에 주사 바늘을 삽입하게 됩니다. 그리고 체혈을 하는 동안 작은 공을 쥐었다 폈다 하게 됩니다. 후유증이 있는지 보기 위해 헌혈이 끝나고 약 5분 정도는 자리에서 쉬었다 가야 합니다. 그리고 보통 과자나 우유 같은 간식이 제공됩니다.
